获得COBIS高阶认证

佛山霍利斯很荣幸能够成为广东省内唯一一所获得英国国际学校理事会（COBIS）认证的成员学院，也是中国内地仅有的三所获得COBIS高阶认证的学校之一。学校在2022年获得COBIS合规认证，然后紧接着一年内获得高阶认证，这表明了学校一直以来致力于提供高水平的英式国际教育，满足严格的学术标准，并提供出色的学生支持。

增设预备部和12-13年级

预备部和12-13年级在这一学年正式成立，标志着学校有能力并且一直致力提供全学段的高水平英式教育，培养优秀学生，帮助他们为未来做好准备。这也进一步推动学校社区的发展壮大， 创造一个充满活力的环境，使学生们获得更丰富的教育机会，茁壮成长。

勇敢尝新，创造突破

2022-2023学年对佛山霍利斯来说确实是不平凡的一年，因为在一年内，学校取得了许多重要的突破，第一次举办和参加了许多活动。这些活动进一步丰富了我们学生的学习体验和校园生活。

老师和学生们对学习的渴望以及尝试新事物的热情令我印象深刻。他们努力克服期间的各种障碍，保持着好奇心，不断探索自我，了解他人和这个世界。

我们首度举办了户外探索之旅，带领学生们到清远和深圳展开实地探究学习。

首部校园音乐剧《绿野仙踪》上演，展示了我们小演员们的卓越才能。

在首个艺术展上，我们的新晋小艺术家们的创作天赋和才华获得了展示的机会，给观众们带来惊喜和启发。

预备部学生们主办了我校第一次地球日庆祝活动，给我们的社区宣传和推广可持续发展意识和环保意识，鼓励大家一起用行动支持环保。

我们也很高兴见证了我们的首位毕业生 Scarlett 成功获得多所世界知名大学的录取，这是她学术生涯的一个里程碑，我们祝她前程似锦，再创高峰。

这一学年佛山霍利斯也首次参加和主办一系列的校际体育赛事，学生们在比赛中表现出的卓越的团队精神、毅力和体育精神令我们自豪。

学生们首次参加了校际模拟联合国会议，以及佛山霍利斯也在校内首次举办了模拟联合国大会，让学生们充分发展全球思维和提升外交沟通技能。

精彩庆典活动，凝聚社区

在佛山霍利斯，我们非常重视社区的凝聚力，并经常举办社区活动，给成员们分享欢乐时刻。从别出心裁的万圣节变装和令人屏息凝气的恐怖故事之夜，到温馨浪漫的冬季集市和圣诞音乐会，每个庆祝活动都给学生、家长和员工们留下难忘的回忆。运动日体现了体育竞技精神和团队精神，春节庆典体现了我们学校和本地文化的连结；世界图书周燃起了社区内的阅读风潮，而夏季音乐会则展现了学生们的音乐才华、天赋和热情。

LEH Foshan proudly stands as the only COBIS member school in Guangdong and one of three COBIS Patron"s Accredited schools in the mainland of China.Achieving COBIS Accreditation within just one year of attaining Compliance Member status demonstrates the school"s commitment to exceptional British international education, meeting rigorous academic standards, and providing outstanding student support.

Celebrating a Year of Many “First”

The school year 2022-2023 was truly remarkable for LEH Foshan, as it marked the celebration of numerous first-time events that enriched the learning experience for our students.

I have been very impressed with teachers’ and students’ thirst for learning and their eagerness to try new things out, commit and overcome barriers and have the curiosity to discover more about themselves and other people.

Embarking on new adventures beyond the campus, our students had their first-ever field trips to Qingyuan and Shenzhen.

Another highlight was our inaugural School Musical Production "The Wizard of Oz," showcasing the exceptional talents of our young performers.

The vibrant and diverse talents of our budding artists were showcased in the inaugural Art Exhibition, where creativity flourished and inspired all who attended.

Embracing sustainability and environmental awareness, our Prep School students took the lead in organizing the first-ever Earth Day Celebration, raising awareness and inspiring positive change within our community.

We were thrilled to witness our first graduate Scarlettcross the stage, marking a milestone in her academic growth and paving the way for future success.

The school year was further enriched by the thrill of the first inter-school sports battles, where our students displayed remarkable teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship.

Additionally, our students excelled in their participation in the first Model United Nations Conferences, engaging in stimulating debates and showcasing their diplomatic skills.

Fostering Community Through

Vibrant Festivities

At LEH Foshan, we believe in the power of community and the joy that comes from shared experiences. From thrilling Halloween dress-up and captivating scary story nights to enchanting Winter Market and heartwarming Christmas concerts, each celebration brought joy to students, parents, and staff. Sports Day showcased friendly competition and teamwork, while Chinese New Year celebrated our cultural connection. World Book Week ignited a love for reading, and Summer Concerts showcased our talented performers" passion for music.
